We mine sustainably to protect the legacy of tomorrow.

Our commitment to the environment is unwavering, as we prioritize the protection of nature, water, and air within our operational areas. We recognize that the health of our community is deeply connected to the state of our climate and environment. The increasing severity of climate change—marked by water scarcity, heat waves, wildfires, and floods—disproportionately affects the most vulnerable among us.

Our aim is to contribute to solutions that align with the European Green Deal’s zero pollution agenda. By reducing pollution and safeguarding biodiversity, we not only protect the environment but also enhance the well-being and quality of life for all, now and for future generations.

We actively participate in various industry initiatives to assurance the quality of our activities, we are Digbee certified.

Flora and fauna monitoring:

We recognize that each ecosystem is unique, with its own distinct characteristics. Monitoring the flora and fauna is crucial for preserving biodiversity and maintaining ecological balance. By regularly observing and documenting the species within an area, we can detect population changes, identify potential threats, and implement targeted strategies to protect vulnerable species.

As part of our regular communitiy activities we offered the opportunity to take part at our summer Biodiversity Monitoring Campaign, which was happily accepted by three community members.

DEM is being established as a publicly traded company—its shares are already available for trading through Commertunity AG

📢 DEM – Deutsche E Metalle AG will be merged with Commertunity AG (WKN A3DKE6), which is listed on the Düsseldorf Stock Exchange. The stock is already tradable under the name Commertunity AG; the renaming to DEM – Deutsche E Metalle AG is expected to take place shortly.
